Ricoh 2228c series parts compatible with CL7100 printer?

Hi all

Do you know if the Ricoh 2228c PCU's and fuser units are compatible with the Ricoh CL7100 printer?

The drums are compatible, so long as you remove the little encoder that is on the printer PCU or the front plate. As for the fuser, I'm not certain, but if it's like the other printer versions, there is either a different wiring harness or some extra piece that won't keep it from connecting in properly without a little transplantation.

The dv units are compatible, you just have to swap a pin and gear in the front.

Drums, Devos and fusers all are. You have to mod the fuser though like every other ricoh you swap fusers with. I dont recall what i did off hand but I have done all of them in the past without problems.

have the ricoh 2228/2232 a similar controller board layout, so that you can use the memory and ps3 modul from the cl7000 for instance?

Memory yes, PS3 no (especially if it has been installed in another machine previously)
