    Problems with Savin 2070 ADF

We have this machine in the field and have worked on the ADF, but even after replacing the torque limiter and the little pressure rollers for the ADF Belt, the speed of the ADF is too high, causing jams. We own the manual, and the parts catalog, but don't find anything referring to this particular problem.

    Any ideas?

The specific jam codes will be helpful in giving an accurate recommendation.

Have you replaced the feed clutch in the ADF?

Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

Yes, we replaced the clutch. How is the timing belt/timing pulley adjusted, or can it be adjusted?

Savin 2070 with DF feed jams can be caused sometimes by the shaft that has the one one bearing on it for the feed roller. When you remove the paper feed / pickup asb , in the rear where this section gets inserted into is a white plastic piece that has a one one bearing in it. This white plastic housing can crack and slip on the metal shaft causing your problem. The part # for this shaft and attached one way bearing is B3012242.

Check this for sure you're problem will be solve shaft for any damage cause by the white bushing if yes replace shaft and bushing, check the Pick up roller holder it may give the same problem when the hole of the holder became wider, the gear will move away from the shaft, and also check the edge of the lower guide cover it may be damage because of the edge of the paper normally this the cause of paper jam for the ARDF. hope it may help you!
