    [Misc] Ricoh Fuser web

    I have aleast 10 of the MP 5500/6500 but only 1 customer that goes through the web every month. Is there a way to slow down the web useage??? I just can't understand why one machine does over 50,000 a month and I still haven't needed to replace it and the other one is almost excatly at 30,000 when it needs to be replaced.

      Check SP1-902. Maybe some of the values is not correct. Firmware update couldn't hurt either.

          I remember lowering the web interval on the 850s because the Hot rollers were getting trashed & I was too lazy to polish them clean. I guess you could try increasing the interval (Sp1902-002).

          But FIRST....I'd check/replace the web motor & make sure the harness isn't pinched.
