Aficio 1015 and Aficio 1018 Laser Unit Problem

Hi I would like to ask you opinion about Aficio 1015/1018 Laser Unit. I have many cases here that has laser unit problem (SC320). Is there a way how to avoid those problems or any possible adjustments that i should check? I've check the Polygon Mirror Motor Idling Time SP2-915 and it is set to 1 (15 seconds). Thank you very much.

New Polygon Mirror Motor usually fixes this,it is a common fault

If your in a pinch and don't have a mirror motor handy, you can remove the black plastic mirror keeper and pull the mirror out. Clean the shaft and bushing with alcohol, and apply a drop of lightweight oil into the bushing before reassembly. This works about 50% of the time.

i have oiled them before make sure you use very little oil to much and it will code out. remember you can use most small Ricoh poloy motors
1013 ,1515, mp161 220,270 they all will work.
