Firmware update on MPC4501 went wrong

Hi all,
Just updated the firmware on a MPC4501 , rpcs, pcl, printer, engine, and part of that was to do finisher.
After I finish the sorter is not recognised by the machine, any idea's.

Do you get an error that the finisher isn't attached (sc7xx) or does it not even recognize that the bridge unit is installed either? Is their another compatible mfp nearby that you can plug the finisher into to isolate the issue?

yes a C792 error with bridge still fitted, the firmware version no longer shows on control panel.
I am in the process to try a machine finisher from the office.

Yeah, it sounds like the finisher controller got corrupted. That happened to me before, I think you will need to replace the finisher controller board. Did you do the finisher firmware last? I'm pretty sure it needs to be done after Engine and System are installed.

Swapped ot the finisher and all works ok, Will return back to office and once resolved I'll update.

Damn...and I was gonna drive down the coast and sort it too.....there goes mah weekend at Coffs
