    Ricoh Aficio 1060 hard drive

    Does the hard drive for this machine have to be the one from Ricoh? Can I pick up a 40 gig that matches the specs of the original hard drive and format from the machine, will this work?

      There is nothing special about the HDD. Pick up a new or used (erased) and format it with the machine's SP mode.
