if not, what can i use to clean the charge roller?

    2) aficio 551.... can i put a little silicon oil or grease inside a bushing in the drum unit?

    thank you...

Water or glass cleaner works fine, just don't soak it. Moisten the towel and wipe, go all the way around 3 or 4 times or until it looks clean. Still no guarantees of good image quality, but that's the best you'll get short of replacing it.

Use conductive grease on shafts that conduct drum ground. Light oil on others. Don't use silicon oil, it's for fusers. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
