Ricoh SP C430N - Labels print out light

    Hello Folks,

I have a Ricoh SP C430N printer and when printing Avery labels they are barely visible. Everything else prints out fine, even cardstock.
I assume this is because of the finish on the label paper. Is there a way to resolve this. Tryed changing the settings under Menu, Maintenance, General, Lable Paper Settings for Bypass tray from 6 (default) through to 1 without any change.

    Any help out there??

    Thanks, Mark

First off, make sure that the labels are for a laser printer. I try to steer my customers towards the laser only labels as opposed to the laser/inkjet variety. The cost is a little more, but it makes for fewer calls and issues.

Also, check to see if the coated paper settings make any traction in terms of better output.
