Hello forum. I recently got a used Aficio 820dn. It has never worked since I got it. Error code SC548 shows on the display. I have followed the manuals troubleshooting suggestion of testing for voltage off of wire leads 1 and 2 on the IH board. There seems to be no output voltage. What else should I do? Is there any other tests I can perform to the IH board or coil? Is there anywhere I can have the IH board tested and/or serviced?

SC548 is a rotation error for the fusing unit.
For health and safety reasons any fusing related service codes need to be manually reset via the service mode by a tech after the fuser has been inspected for damage.

SC548 Code resolved now error SC582
I found the cause of the SC548 error. The fuse rotation sensor wires were shorted. I repaired the wires, now I get error SC582. It's maddening!! I tried a different fuser unit and still get this error. What should I look for regarding this error? My manual is so vague. Could it be the IH coil or is it possible to have 2 faulty fusers?Comment

Not likely the coil. More likely the IH board or possibly the IOB.Comment

Had the same problem with the SC548 then the SC582 - did what the other post suggested with the IH coil thermostat.
Worked for me.
