I had this same problem a week ago. The copies are straight black and jams consistently. I changed the drum, drum roller, cleaning blade, and developer. What would cause this to continue to print black copies. I figure a sensor but not sure. Any input would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Dave

I had a similar problem the other day... it's more than likely to be something with the charge. Check the following

Black springs on the PCU, these push the Charge Roller against the Drum. If they're missing it might not be doing it's job, thus no charge...

Check the metal plates above the charge roller, make sure they're in contact..

Check the metal plate on the back of the PCU, if it's bent "Like what I had" no charge will go through.

And finally, was the Mag Roller clean when you changed developer? :S

Sometimes Dirty charge roller bearings can do this as well, as they contact the Charge roller and supply charge through.

But does this happen on Printing and Scanning? Or just one?

As for jamming, you'll need to be a little more clear. It could all be one problem "SC related?" but you haven't given us any information on this, where does it jam and does the paper crumple at that point?

Hope this helps. Let me know how you get on.
