    2022 pcu lines

Hi guys, What drums do you use on these machines, i tend to disablethe pcu check in sp mode and use the 1022 pcu. The trouble i am having is some of these tend to give charge roll lines quite early.

Have any of you techs had this problem or do you replace the drum separatly rather than fitting the 1022 pcu?
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

      We replace the complete PCU.

Most of them reach there 60k yield for us.
We even let them run over yield if the customer is not reporting a copy quality issue when they phone.

DMU23 which fits various older models, I think the 1022 is one of them marked on the box.

Do you also replace the transfer roller as well? I've seen quite a few of them that will end up damaging the drum or give lines that look like charge lines as they wear.

The transfer roller is down as a 120k PM part but we don't replace them unless we see they are damaged.
Some of our 1022/27s are well over a million copies on their original transfer roller.

The same material charge rollers is used in 2238cs and 3245cs itbs which last a million and all we do is wipe them with water which does the trick in most cases unless damaged.
