Can someone analyze what's wrong with this scan from a recently install Plotbase 3.7.1 sp4. The scan image distorted by vertical white lines which is consistent in distance. Thanks.

Problem: White lines every 1mm pitch in halftone areas.
Possible cause: Defective CIS (Contact Image Sensor E.G the optics ass'y)- Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.

The problem is that I have no problem at all doing copying. Copy quality is perfect.Comment

Try reseating both ends of the interface cable between the printer and the interface card, making sure that there are no bent pins, dirty contacts, etc...
When you reconnect, make sure that you don't reverse the ends, even though they would fit.
If that doesn't work, crack the PC open and reseat the interface card in its PCI slot.
