    Ricoh MP3350 gray copy

    Have MP3350 with washed out solids and half tones on copies. Already replaced drum, charge roller, developer and ran initialization. Seems to have
    setup ok but copies still gray on solids and halftones with pin holes in them. Which SP modes should be adjusted for correct solid density??

      I'd try replacing the transfer roller first, that can cause odd image quality faults on Russians.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Can't you tweek one or two of the SP modes to boost the density level?

              No. Messing with SP modes only masks a fault for a short time.

                  How do internal prints look? Are the optics clean? Laser dust glass?

                      Make sure the laser slit glass is clean, I have also had grey prints/copies caused by a dirty mag roller even though it doesnt look real bad just taking a good brass brush or crumple up a piece of paper if you dont have a brush and scratch the dev build up off the mag roller, id try that cause its free and if they still look spotty then i would go for the transfer roller like suggested before.

                          Sounds like poor transfer roller contact or defective roller holder.
