I haven't had one do that yet bout the only time i have an issue with that finisher is when the rear staple cover breaks so it wont staple the diagonal at the top of the page.
However not sure if will help but there was an old bullitin about adding a discharge brush to because of static causing pages to stack incorrectly so it wouldnt staple through all the pages, which kind of looks like the what happened in your photo, might be worth a shot if someone doesn't have a better answer for you. The bullitin was B830-014
