I have 2 1515 ricohs in field that are experiencing sc code 500 and the dev. unit gears are stipped. Does anyone have part numbers for developer unit gears?

Re: Need help with ricoh 1515
Can not be replaced just because gears which has a catalog. And we had same problem with SC 500, we think the problem is poor quality
making of drum unit.Change all drum unit.
Although ricoh argues that quality is the same, our drum unit makes only 25k-35k.
Before makes 55k-70k
Thanks.

Re: Need help with ricoh 1515
We have also experienced a drop in life of the 1515pcu. Original Ricoh pcu is supposed to last 45k according to Ricoh. Recently we have had units fail after 15k to 25k with stripped gears.Press the GREEN button!!Comment

Re: Need help with ricoh 1515
Agreed, don't even bother trying to change the gears. They are chewed up because of developer leaking into the gear chamber. The new gears will just get chewed up again and cause you another headache not too far down the road.A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Re: Need help with ricoh 1515
We use Type 21 developer on AF-1515MF, MP161, MP171, MP201SPF. We put the only 200gr developer in development unit. We change the developer gears. After machine work fine.Comment

Re: Need help with ricoh 1515
Does anybody know the part #'s for these? Regardless of how commonplace it is to simply replace the PCU, this would be useful for the occasional client that's not on a service contract and balks at the price of a whole unit.Comment

Re: Need help with ricoh 1515
It's sure not 'rocket science' to find it. Go to Katun's website and look up 1515MF. But if you must know it's "OPC drum kit": (Katun P/N 35305)Comment
