I have a new install that I did on a Mp c2500 the machine works fine ,but having trouble connecting it to print. It pings but you cannot to the web interface. The scanner works fine. I cannot get it to print using the tcpip port, but smart device monitor recognized the ipv6 address and I can print that way. I belive some sp need to be changed it is probably been changed by someone. I can get in admin mode I have tried a memory all clear and changing the controller board. I belive I can replace the nv ram to fix it but I wonder if there are any sp I can try to change.

Re: MP C2500 Printing problems
Hi
Have you checked the "access control" range setting in WIM? it is in the security settings.
If a range is programmed only machines in that range will be able to communicate with the printer. All other machines will get that FORBIDDEN error.
Hope this solves it!Press the GREEN button!!Comment

Re: MP C2500 Printing problems
You may want to check to see if there is another machine on the network that is possibly using the same IP address. If there is, you will get a reply from ping and not be able to access the WIM, and could be why you can only print on the IPv6 address.Comment
