Might not be you problem but I have found that the brass bushing (AA082101) on the feed roller shaft wears the plastic on the edge of where it just sits into the pickup arm, this allows enough movement for the feed guide to slip and cause misfeeds. I think the bushing is too short and have replaced a few on high volume machines with a longer one (AA082058) that sits in better and haven't had the issue happen again.
