Re: MPC2500 and MPC2800 Tray1 ON jams
One reason for these jams is the white clip that holds the feed and seperation rollers in. Because it's only held in with one clip, it moves away during feeding and the feed tyre disconnects from it's drive. Take the feed station out of the machine and put a small self-tapping screw down the shaft the feed roller sits in and screw the white clip to the feed tyre shaft, obviously not too tight or it'll stop the feed roller turning. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Item 14. When you put it into the feed station, you'll see the hole to put the screw into the feed tyre shaft. It basically stops the feed assembly from moving side to side too much. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Re: MPC2500 and MPC2800 Tray1 ON jams
hi, CBR600, the advice I give you in addition to former colleagues and one way to clean the back of the paper feed, I solved with a little oil on a cloth and then with a screwdriver to rotate the cloth dampened within one wayComment

Re: MPC2500 and MPC2800 Tray1 ON jams
I've also had a few bad clutches in the MPC series but that white clip issue is also familiar. You can modify the feeding unit with a washer so the clip sits tigher. I've also heard about people removing the clip.
Bad bridge unit switches doesn't make specific jam counts but indeed a high count on "at power on"Comment
