Sc-390 on gestentner DSM 620d

hi i am working on dsm620d i replace developer and gears in it know it is making bad copies and also popping SC390 on every 8or 9 copies please if someone can share any information about it what causing it that would be appreciated .

Also clean the ID sensor.Dirty copy occurs when it is dirty.

What was the reason for replacing the dev and gears? Was the SC390 there already? When you replaced the dev, did you do a dev initialize or how does the machine now know that there is new dev in?

NO they were warn out they were not turning each other and it was making very light copies code was not there before .i check all the connectors they look okay .this is the developer i put it in Gestetner B121-9640.unless is is wrong kind.

yes i did dev initialize.but when i execute force dvlpr churn after few second it goes to that code sc 390 if that helps

Did you do dev initialise? Off the top of my head it's SP-2801.

Have you cleaned the sensor below the transfer roller..I have encountered that same problem when I replaced the drum set.I was puzzled that time because dirty copy occurred and SC 390 showed after replacemen.I just cleaned that sensor and the machine worked fine.

generic toner and drum was there before but all this started when i replace developer and gears .it work fine till it started to make noise which was due to the bad gears and replace transfer roller then it started the error code and got lot of spec on page it does about 8 page before it pop the code

Make Black copies. Initialize dev again.

Check the gears codes. The 3 gears in development base have 2 different codes.
Clean the Power Pack, check connections.
