Aficio 3235c with add black toner problem

Hello guys I have a 3235C with the black toner cartridge full, but it signals to replace the toner.
The customer has replaced more than one cartridge, but the car after about 200/300 copies, reports back black toner exhausted.
A month ago have been replaced all the development units and all the drums.
It occurs to me that now is time to replace the toner attraction pump and the associated tube.
I read about the service manual, but I was not clear whether to replace the pump to dismantle the rear of the machine.
For the pump magenta seems that there are also the rear screws.
Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

If you want to replace the toner pumps, just above the dv-units, you have to dismantle the rear of the machine. Good luck.

I guess Ricoh didn't expect these pumps to be replaced very often. If you do this a few times, like I did, it's not that hard. Good luck on this one!

But they learned from their design flaws (at least in this case) - changing toner pumps at most mid range MPC can be done within minutes.

Absolutely, the MPc pumps are a doddle compared to these abortions.

Anyway, yes, replace the pump.
