ricoh mpc3500 jam in finisher sr790

Only jams when trying to go down to staple or sort. If comes.out top tray it is fine.
I think gate is bad maybe. Any thoughts?

Check this motor ( AX04 0238 DC Motor:Tray:Upper Lower drive)whether it is good or not.It is located in the shift tray drive.

Do Output check via Service Program 5804 if I am right. If all sounds good then check out all of the springs on all gates if they are sitting nicely in their positions (strait not angled). Also you may check sensors inside of a finisher (entrance, exit etc) and see if they respond properly when the interrupter exists. And as of cause make sure your firmware if up-to-date.
