Bout time they sorted them, the amount of new pcu's we had to return that had been broken before they arrived here. The charge roller assy would snap where they pivot.
Not as bad as the MPc6000/7500 charge parts, they rarely if ever arrive in one piece inside the box!

Also black pcu for SPC 811 is modified. Now they look more like pcus for Athena c2
Thanks for the confirmation!! Modding is still no problem then, except that we can't stick with the old-style PCU front covers (we usually kept the original C/M/Y covers).

Still works but do yourselves a favour and check the new price before you order! (you'll want to be sitting down)

Charge roller/cleaning roller swapped about and now fully exposed to any spillage from the dev unit. Rear casing is different and front dev mounting now takes 2 screws meaning you cannot use original drum cover. Also changed the connector mounting to prevent removal so the connector must be shaved.

The same modification was applied also for colour drums.New p/n.
And i assume the same thing will be applied also to the colour pcus for SPC 811.

What's so bad about it? I actually can see the item plus price but I'm not shocked - price seems compareable with MPC2800 BK drum unit to me.

The original price for the B224 version was more than double the B223 item. Ricoh have now reverted to the B223 price, presumably due to the volume of irate SM's calling in

OK - the price seems corrected then. It's fairly higher but I expect that ricoh will announce a higher PM cycles for these units since they seems to be almost similar like the MPC2800 drums who last 120k instead of 80k. So only by math it's probably not more expensive if you calculate the price in relation to the costs of a page by the PM tables. So far it's just rumours since I can't see a bulletin but I guess they have to publish something if they run out of stock with the old-style units.
