Ricoh MPC 3500 and windows 7 wont print color pictures

I can print emails and letters in text but as soon as I select a color picture it takes a long time and when it prints it only prints about 1 inch on the edge in black .
I removed all the printers and reinstalled the printer driver for this and no different . It also display printer error ans says there is a print in que that is holding it up . I perform the detect and repair problem and it says its fixed but It keeps on doing this . Are we dealing with a viris or what ?

It doesn't sound like a virus.
Check out this:
1. Make sure all of the drivers installed on your stations are correct. Also make sure if you are using a printer servers that driver is compatible with your servers OS.
2. Check out your firmware on a copier - firmware can cause issues while printing.
3. Check setting on a copier (as mentioned before)

What sort of file is it? And what program are you using to open it?

We are using the pcl 5 driver and we are printing JPeg files and memory usage is frame .

Corrupted driver? You could try deleting and re-installing the driver.

try to use font if still the same then update the firmware.

Just to be on the safe side, have you gone back to the Ricoh website and downloaded the latest version of the driver? Have you also confirmed that it's the MP C3500 driver and not the MP 3500 driver?

Seem like obvious things, but some times the simplest things are the easiest to overlook.

Also try setting the port for LPR, queue name lp.
