Savin 9020 toner issues
I bought toner black toner for a Savin C9020 off of a website and tried installing it today but the copier says there is no toner. I tried shaking it before putting it back in the machine and then rebooted it but the copier still says no toner. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone had this problem before?

Sorry, I had advice for a 9020, which is an old analog machine. After reading your post again, I noticed you said a c9020 which I have not had any experience with.(A lot of typing for nothing after the edit).NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING -

What is a C9020? Can't find anything about it.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

What the user is doing wrong is trying to save a few dollars buying sub-standard generic toner which is one of the biggest no-no's there is in these machines. The end-user needs to go back to the supplier, and return the toner, (but I doubt that's possible, so that money's gone too), buy an original cartridge, and hope that solves the problem, and that the toner pump /tubes haven't been clogged up. Trying to save a few buck this way, will cost you hundreds and hundreds of dollars more in repairs, extra replacement toners, etc. etc.Comment

There should be a Chip on that toner ctg. If it is not on the compatible one you bought, the machine will not recognize that a new ctg (with new chip) was installed in it. Therefore making your new toner useless.Comment
