    Ricoh FT3713

I know it's old, but only has 50,000 copies on it. The fuser thermistor was blown so we replaced it. We get error E54 which is adjust the setting on the main board. It won't adjust. How many ohms should this thermistor read when disconnected. It reads 11 meg ohm which I think is too much.
The copier won't start until this voltage is correct I presume. Any ideas

An SC54 is a fuser error. Fuser errors must be reset by this method:

Use SP 97 to reset. Turn ON dip SW101-2, enter "97, AE, 1, hold Lighter and AE at the same time". The exposure display flashes to confirm. Turn OFF dip SW101-2. See TSB 16 (was TSB 03).

It has nothing to do with the resistance measurement you mention.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
