I have a ricoh mp 161 and the IT guy says the machine will lose its scan settings after machine goes to energy saver. Any ideas would be helpful

It depends on which settings you are referring to.
SMTP, folder destinations, defaulted settings, etc... will stay.
Settings for the last scan you did, such as duplex, DPI, etc... will go back to defaults, just as you would expect them to.

yeah some more specific intel would be nice. THese machines (SPF version) are known for having issue with loosing or corrupting adress book data. Updating the latest firmware and perform a (partial) memory clear usually helps.Comment
