      Mornin.

High-res scan attached see what you make to it.

I think I need to print 2 blank pages out to see if the spots are in the exact same place each time. Which would be dirty rollers.

But If the position of the spots is different every time, thats gotta be a probelm with the black toner cartidge or the drum?

The machine wasn't used for a year, I also know the black cartridge is full and the colors half used.

I'm not seeing an attachment. Is it just me? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's there, but depending on your monitor, it can be hard to notice. There's a thumbnail of dots on the paper you can enlarge - not a "copy" per se.
I Never had the pleasure of working on one of these beasts, but it looks related to either a cleaning station seal and/or dev issue to me

            FACE PALM,

Ive added some text to the copy. The scan is an A4, I just copied a white background to show the toner drops on thier own.

Agreed. This is probably not a fuser issue. It's either toner dribbling down from a drum cleaning unit, or overtoner developer, probably black units. Beware, costs are rising already. =^..^=

Re: Ricoh 4506- Comic Printing. Soot and service advice please.

I think it could be toner dribble because there was evidence it was spilling into the top paper trays when I picked it up.
So it could be in the black toner hopper that needs cleaning? or the inner rolls?

Or you say could be the cleaning unit.

I think the next step then is to learn out to open up the drum unit and get to the internal rollers and remove the black toner hopper.

If it is the drum then im left with no choice then to take it into the back yard and invite some mates round. =
