    Ricoh Aficio 1022

What else besides the drum, drum blade, and charge roller would cause a line down the copy in this Ricoh Aficio 1022? The line shows up no matter if I lay it on the glass or run it through the feeder. Any help appreciated, thank you.

Does it show up when you print a counter sheet?

white line? Black line? Prints, copies or both? (as mentioned) If copies confirm by placing a "large" (A3 size) original on the ADF, select "Auto reduce /enlarge) and copy to tray 1 using A4 (Or similar) LEF. This will rotate the line across the feed direction and confirm optics / scanning as the issue.

Lint on light source #1 (mirror #1), or on the CCD lens?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

White line: dirty laser sight glass
Black line: fuser roller or developer unit, piece of lint/dirt hanging in drum area touching drum, transfer assy/belt
Testing 1-2-3, testing, testing. Is this thing on?
