    mpc3500 doc feed problems

I have a mpc3500 that will just stop in stream when feeding, not crumple paper, just stops, seems like a dirty sensor,
I have cleaned all the sensors that i can find, is there one some where else,?
or do i need to "reset" the doc feeder's sensors?
    is the
reset in section 6 adf ??
or... is there a motor or clutch going bad?
    thanks

Clean the 3 black plates the sensors use as reference. They get coated in paper dust. 2 in recesses on top. 1 underneath on metal plate.

access sp mode input 5990 and get logging data.
where are the jams indicated in the df section?

presumably pick up roll, belt , sep roll and torque limiter have been replaced.

Check that the roller in the attached PDF isn't slipping intermittently on the shaft that it sits on.

Had this problem numerous times TBH

replaced the friction pad, roller and the white roller (cannot think of its name duh) that connects to the roller as i can almost assure you that its cracked leading to slipping

                    Problem solved

                      I assume the roller # 22 ?
                      Please verify it?

If it's j53 in the logging data, then it's usually that sensor hidden behind the black on the under side of the adf....
But first port of call is to print the data, that'll pretty much lead you to it...

I think he was referring to the torque limiter for the reverse roller, which I don't see in the diagram.
