    mpc3500 fax rexeption problems

Client can receive from me and from another fax in house, but they can't from clients. Very sporadic. Is there a way to slow down modem and turn off error correction or something to fix this?

    Thanks all

Probably you should set up a triangular test circuit to see if its a particular telco station causing the problem.
Aside from that: Comm sw 01 bit 0 to 0 will turn off ECM; G3 switch 06 bits3~0 set to 0011 will lower the Rx rate to 7200 bps

Just to point out that Jomama gave precise instructions on how to do just that, in the only other reply. However, a little feedback as to whether it helped might prove helpful to the rest of us.

I finally got back to client. Turned off ECM and slowed modem to 14.4 and it works perfect!

          Thanks all!
