[Error Code] MP C2550 (SC 565)

This error code occurs intermittently. I already replaced the two pressure roller thermistors but still error occurs. The machine has a counter around 150K. Any ideas why it is happening? Is the thermostat bad?If yes, why the machine is getting ready once I cycle the power off and on? I still have not checked the fusing connector, but how can it be defective since the fusing unit has not been removed frequently. I am confused with this kind of error.

have you pm'd the fuser unit (pm 150k) if not just EITHER replace the unit as a whole/rebuild or its possible the psu but go for the fuser first. press lamps working? sp1106

Problem solved!I rechecked the fusing unit and I found the pressure roller thermostat busted. I just knocked it on the floor and it worked again.

The SC codes on the Diana and the Apollons / Athenas can be a total arse. Turns out they can run with a blown thermostat and only code out occasionally.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.
