[CQ] Ricoh 1224c Print quality problems

    scan.jpg

    Hey everyone,

I recently started having problems with a Ricoh 1224c. A scanned test page is attached. I've tried changing al the toner cartridges, and I've tried a different PCU (not new but same results)

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks for any help, much appreciated.
    Philip

Nonono... better get a sledgehammer for this POS If you are odd enough to love this machine you can try: - a set of new Dev Units - dev drive assy - transfer cleaning clutch/drive assy I'd go with the sledgehammer.....

Hi, I've already tried these from another photocopier too, is there anything else which you think might be wrong?

        Thanks, Philip

Can you print out a colour test pattern from Printer SP and upload that?

I'd go with the charge wire and grid, mostly because they cost next to nothing, but it could also be the transfer drive assembly. I'll be able to tell better from the test pattern though.

I'm assuming that this scan is the print out rather than a copy?
