A charity group I do free work for recently purchased a used Ricoh Aficio 2045eSP. The problem is the "Key Operator Code" is programed and I am unable to add it to the network. The vendor who sold it to them couldn't or wouldn't reset it for them. Is there an easy way to get around this, or is there a default key code that always works, or do they need to call in a tech to do the reset?

A tech needs to go into service mode to reset the key op code.
Have them reset it and give you an estimate to put the machine under contract.
They will make it run and maybe show you simple repairs.
Giving you the code could cost more if you set something wrong. Why do they call it common sense?
If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?Comment
