After returning with dehumidifier installed in room for 2 weeks all moister was gone. Just the developer spill that customer thought was same issue. new dev and should be sorted.
Just a question about the tray heaters - those work (on most models) when the machine is OFF and not when the machine is ON. I have heard of condensation issues on machines in confined spaces when they do long runs.
We have a few PRO 907, and 1307 that do long runs and you also see similar if there is not adequate ventilation.
Are you sure moisture is the cause of this blur? The air from an airconditioner is dry air, so maybe the cause of the blur should be found somewhere else.
I have had the same issue on a same model MP 7000...
After too many visits and adjustments about fuser idling, transfer & clean. blade pattern forming on drum (SP 2940, 2964,2966) etc.. last thing left was to totally disconnect drum & paper trays heaters!! (No call back since then...3 months ago)
The above procedures (SP adj.) worked on AF-2051/2060/2075...
Hi all,
Need your ideas,
have a mp7000 that is in a small room that is airconditioned and get lots of moisture about the fuser unit and drips on to the drum causing a blurr affect, by 100am is it preaty much gone. Customer has same machine upstairs in a bigger room no issue.
Heaters on in trays
Set to turn on at 7.ooam to try and warm up
no we close the door and run a deumidifier
Just goes away after a lot of sun shine but returns when wet, never an issue on previous AF5051.
