Hi everybody,

I need a firmware for my Ricoh Africio 2018 to actvate the lan card. If someone knows where i can it download, it will be great.

You don't need firmware, you need the "Print/Scanner" SD card for the slot, and possibly a memory Dimm, etc, that is required for TCP/IP printing. And before you ask, 'no' you can't simply copy the files from another card, or download it anywhere

I just looked back at your posts, and it seems that back in May, you knew that it was an SD card you needed for this unit

An authorized dealer or eBay, take your pick. In any event, it's not free... but I think that's what you want.

Looking around your shop won't work if you don't have it.
Search GOOGLE or any search engine.

I bought a Printer Scanner Unit Type 2018. I get on the both slots and each time i get a binary code on the LCD. What should i do? Do you have any idea? thanks

First of all. The SD card goes in the upper slot. Make sure it's unlocked. I also noticed that you're missing the USB board, and I wonder what else? Ram Dimm perhaps?
After we check and fix all that. You may need firmware.

You've been at this since May, and still haven't even bothered to get a manual.

WHy not buy the manual from Paul? His are genuine thing and not cheap imitations. Paul's copyright manuals are guaranteed free from defects and flaws for lifetime of the manual! He is really nice guy, but don't make him mad! justmanuals.com

You are right. I am messing the USB board. This is a raison why i couldn't make an update.
You know, i was waiting all the time to get a Printer Scanner Unit from China. I talked to Ricoh support and he told me that i need only this card then will works.

After we check and fix all that. You may need firmware.

Exactly. But i need first the USB Board.

You've been at this since May, and still haven't even bothered to get a manual.

From the looks of that display, I would say you have a loaded firmware card, not a print scan card.

Sur it is a printer scanner unit card. Because I am messing a USB card to update the firmware. Without the USB card I think I have no way to test my printer.

The Print/Scan kit also come with a stick of RAM (128MB) than must be installed onto the controller board. If you do not have this installed, it's not going to work, and is probably why you are getting the error.

G3315720 - PCB SDRAM-DIMM 128mb Ass'y

Not sure what the pin-count is on that, but I'd recommend buying the right type and size of RAM from anywhere BUT Ricoh. They will rape your butt hole with how much they will charge for it, when you could probably buy it somewhere else for under $20.

thanks femaster, I want show you my board. But I am not sure nether where the G3315720 will be placed nor where i could buy it with 20$. Do you have any idea? Thanks

If your controller dosnt have the dimm socket B then you will Never be able to get that machine to print without getting the controller option with the dimm socket.
