[CQ] Blue background on colour copies

MPC2500/MPC3000 When making a color copy, the back ground is Blue and Magenta streaks over the page, this user setting help solve the issue for me,USER TOOLS, COPIER FEATURES, GENERAL FEATURES, AUTO IMAGE DENSITY, FULL COLOR, must be turned on.

Hope that helps some one out there one day!

    now make it!

Generally, when you get a background when scanning it is almost always because the grayscale setting has reverted to factory default. Check the birth certificate and set it back to its calibrated value.

Agree 100%...In my experience , it often happens when some bright person does a memory all clear to try and reset an SC code, or solve another problem. I wonder if this is the case with this poster?
