I'm getting a blurr in the cross feed direction (front to back) in black only, it is about a 1 inch and varies to about a mm, after a while of making copies it goes away. when copies are done and sits for a while it does the same all over again. help if you can!!

Sounds like the black PCU is ready for a good strip and vac out. Has this thing ever had a good strip down and clean? If not, it is well due for one. Pay particular attention to the lube bar in the black PCU as well, that could be on it's way out.

I assume this machine doesn't get much use seeing as it's only done 330k-ish total?

Don't try and service one of these things yourself, whatever you do! Get a tech out and make sure he fits OEM parts and knows the machine, otherwise it'll severely bite you. Make sure you use OEM toner too.

X2 ! a good tech can make these run well, a sloppy tech... well you'll get what you pay for.

We service the PCU's, including developer, every 500k. On black PCU service I replace the fuser oil supply roller and cleaning roller. ITB and PTR blades / lube bars run from 500k to 750k depending on the work they have to do. Tell your tech to keep an eye on the drive gears on the back of the fuser, there is a plastic gear that can get shredded causing fuser jams.

The most important things to do with these machines is every 250k or so, vac the living death out of them. Make sure parts are replaced as and when the machine needs them, don't skinflint as these things will quickly turn into an ocean-going nightmare.
