[Misc] Change Default on Duplex for Ricoh Aficio MP7500

Hey- We have a Ricoh Aficio MP7500 that defaults to double sided copies. We need to change this to single sided copies. We have the Service Manual for it , but have had no luck. Can you help? Is this strictly a User function?

Hi

1. Go to the copy screen, deselect duplex.
2. Then go to the Program key (looks like a diamond).
3. Then Program.
4. Program as defaults.
5. Confirm.

You are over complicating your problem.
Just do as Johnyb says...no special "modes" .

Look at the (regular) copy screen, de-select duplex ....an so on, as he suggested

How do I turn Duplex as Default to Off in Copy Mode?



1. Select [Dup./Combine/Series] on the display panel.

2. Press [Cancel] to clear duplex settings.
Note: The other default settings you can program are: Color Mode, Paper Tray, Original Type, Special Original, Original Orientation, Cover / Slip Sheet, Edit / Color, Reduce / Enlarge and Finishing.
3. Press the [Program] key on the operation panel.

4. Press [Program as Defaults]

5. Press [Program]

6. Press [Yes]

7. Press [Simplified Display] key and repeat steps 1 - 6 if you want the Simplified Display Mode to have the same defaults.
