Ricoh MP301, This is a fairly new machine to the market. So far we have sold about 20 to 25 machines in it's first month out. So far we have had to replace two of these LCD touch panels because they have become unresponsive. This worries me. Has anyone else had this problem and come up with a solution? I am making this post to let people out there know that I am having this problem, and if you have this problem to post here. Also if you know why this is happening that would help immensely. Thank you.

Re: Ricoh MP 301 Non-responsive LCD Touch Screen
We only have maybe 5 or 6 of these machines out in the field, but so far, no touch panel problems. Will keep an eye out for that though. Thanks for the heads-up...A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.

Clients say, "One minute it was working, then it just stopped working." Which is probably the worst thing that can happen. Ok .. ok.. maybe not the worst but it's still troubleshooting hell.Comment

Re: Ricoh MP 301 Non-responsive LCD Touch Screen
I wonder if Ricoh is still contracting out to the same company that made the defective touch panels that were recalled a while back. Of course, those at least lasted quite a while before they started failing due to a poor connection caused by the breakdown of the conductive adhesive they were using...A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year.
