    Did you look through the sp modes, I am pretty sure there is a pcu replacement counter in sp5 i think and when you set it to 0 will turn off the display..

      You want SP7-992-4 (Dev Counter Reset).

          Yyyyyyep.

          SP-5912:
          Specifies the PCU alarm level. The PCU alarm is issued when the following
          condition is met:
          PAc x 1000 >= PCUc
          where PAc is the value specified in this SP and PCUc is the PCU counter.
          When you specify 0 (zero), the PCU alarm is deactivated.

            .... and the only down side is when they all pop SC500 and you've got to change the PCU's anyway. These PCU's are barely lasting 30k, never mind 45k. If you see one coming up for that, replace it - it will piss a customer off something chronic if it codes out with a main motor lock two days after it's installed.
            It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

              Even more so if the charge roller goes and it pukes developer all over the place. I've seen plenty of these do 70k with nary a bead of sweat, but if they're pushing 40k now, you're better off replacing them so they can actually run for the customer for awhile.

                Yup, we've had many problems with these. We had a number of PCUs go out with the SC500 code earlier this year. Not sure if they had a bad batch of PCUs or what. We were getting between 12000 and 25000 on them before they locked up completely. The more recent ones we've installed seem to be lasting now.
