MPC2500

Got a MPC2500 with a SC551 error.
I've changed the thermistors, I know I have to reset
this but I can't enter the simulation, it just beeps when
the code is put in . . .
What am I doing wrong here ?

Service Mode wil come up.
Select Service SP
On the number pad en 5810 and press #
It should take you to the Reset SC option.
Press execute then okay
Restart the machine

Hi George.

I had similar problem and found the thermopile was blown. Replaced with new one and solved the problem.

Hi there!
Is it possible, that there are some printjobs on the machine? If so, you had to delete them, otherwise no enter to the techrep-programm.

If it doesn't go into SP mode then your HDD probably crashed. You can remove it and format it using an external bay or by plugging it into a computer and formatting it there. Remember to format the HDD as a NTFS.

Try pressing the Loggin button and then entering sp mode from the loggin window loggin button being the one below the power button.

Just shut the machine off, disconnect the ethernet and phone cables, then turn it back on and go into the service mode to reset.
