Make sure its not ink jet glossy paper, set the by-pass to glossy or thick/card type and i dont think it will d/s glossy paper anyway and you need to use by pass not the trays.

Sounds like the toner isn't being fused properly.

I would try running the paper through the bypass try with thick settings. Using the bypass try will not allow you to do 2 sided printing, but they could always print the first side, then load the paper back into the bypass and run the 2nd side.

They key here is the thick mode settings, this will slow down the travel speed and increase the fusing temperature to ensure toner is fused properly to the paper.

My bet is that you will think twice before promising that any MFP will do glossy media. This will hang over your head for as long as they have the machine. Jams, poor fusing, dull images, varying registration, ... the best thing you can do is back away from that claim right now before you regret it even more than you do now. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That and be prepared for your techs to pull their hair out having to replace drums and fusers after completing mere fractions of their designed lifespan.

Yea and be prepared to stock extra fuser because it will shorten the lifetime by half of the PM interval. Anyhow, I've successfully adjusted one machine to use 11x17 80 LB glossy paper. I am not certain on the newer machine.

I increased the fusing TEMP SP 1105 for thick mode by 8 degrees and adjusted the screws on the fusing entrance guide plate. I told the customers to divide the jobs into 15-20 pages per job and let the machine sit for 10 mins between jobs.

This procedure was used on the MPC4000 with 150k counts on it.

Try different suppliers for stock, some give better results than others. We have a fair few estate agents on the books and they love to print on glossy and silk stock. As we are also a office stationery supplier, we can back up what we supply and if there are problems we let the buyers know not to buy that stock in. But I would try stock from a different supplier
                Good luck
