ok oem toner? do u set the default for the charge roller back when u replace it? whats the vsg vsp like before u strip and clean. yeah they are dirty machines but 50k between visits depends on if they hammer it to death or if its used occasionaly what time scale we looking at? whats the mileage on this? are the seals gone on the dev unit? dev should last 300k but like most 30-35 ppm machines they dont do the full life and get changed at 150-200k.

Set doctor blade on DV unit to a tight .35mm with a flat feeler gauge after cleaning the mag roller to a good shine.

Brush on DV unit is too big out of the factory. I have seen 1mm gap on a new box out of the box.

Remove the charge roller cleaning blade. Just wears them out faster.

Replace drum, drum blade, developer and transfer cleaning blade.
Empty the transfer waste toner and check the bearings on the belt.

Run TD setup, ID initialize, developer setup and drum initialize. Reset PM counter.

I use generic drum and blade with OEM toner and developer.
If customer scratches the drum, it is cheap to replace.
Running all the auto calibrations makes the machine read the cheap parts, the toner and DV are the constant.

                Penny wise and dollar smart.
I get calls for user error and white out on the slit glass that I clear over the phone.
If you do these steps and clean the S#%t out of the machine 1 time, they tend to hum.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
