I have seen this happen once before on a amachine but the machine had so many other problems that the customer ended up replacing it (when a Xerox salesman walked in) before i was able to go in and figure out this particular problem. I now ran into the exact same problem on the Toshiba version of this same machine. All colors get very light and grainy. If the customer tries to do a color calibration in user tools it fails. I can get it to work by forcing a toner add for all colors and then if you calibrate it (when the colors are darker) of course it will then calibrate fine. The print is lighter than it should be though. The machine has a total of 59K color prints and 228K black. Doesn't sem to be very high for all colors to have a problem. Possible Drum issues (all 4?)? I am wondering if anyone else ran into this and what the problem may be.
