[CQ] Brand New MP301SP with noise on ARDF1030

Hallo All

I will appreciate your input.


We have just installed over 400 MP301 at at major acc

Out of all 400 machine we had about 60 machine with a squeaking noise from the ARDF this on single side on double side the noise is not there

Kan anyone confirm if they have the same problem with noisy ARDF on the MP301SP

• I had an issue on a brand new machine, loud resonation/squeeking sometimes. After greasing everything and scuffing up the shafts where the one way clutches are for better grab, then replacing most moving parts the noises were still there. The noise seemed to resonate from when the top cover was closed with the feed assembly in place. Had another tech go there to see what he could come up witht and said he put a type of felt or padding at the points where the top cover touches anything while it is closed, he said that worked.

I had one do this about a week after installation.

We ended up replacing the pickup assembly, as there was visible deformation to the spring clutch that forms part of this assembly.

If memory serves, we found it to be similar to the FX200 df assembly
