SP3045- enables/disables the toner alert display on the LCD. Worth a try.

That chip is not just for the display, it contains quite a lot of info including ser no of the bottle and lot no, so any problems that are now going to appear with toner pumps and blockages will not be covered by any maintainace agreement and should you need a Ricoh support visit he will just walk away from the machine with none oem toner having been fitted. All toner bottle ser no are logged so Ricoh can see if none oem supplies have ever been used.

SP 3045 is for shorter usage only, if a toner pump breaks you probably can use it for some day.
But if you keep using it longer period of time you will break the developer in the devbox.

Thats my opinon, I have tried that before.

If it's the "independent supplier" message you're talking about, then set SP5051 (refill toner detection display) to "Off"
