Just out of curiosity, how many clients' computers do you have in your company? Why spent a whole day trying to re-invent the wheel? I would just go to each workstation and install the driver independently and I can assure you that the users can save their user code on the PCL 5c driver.

You could have it done by now.

I did wonder this, we have 30 machines though so could take a while and I'm on my own. does it work on a profile basis though? Some machines are hotdesks so I worry they may using the wrong code.
I had real problems with the RPC driver - on every machine it had the user code of another machine and I have to delete it change it but then it affects the other machine - such a mess. I'm guessing this is why you don't 'share' the printer on SBS?
