How to connect a counter meter on a RICOH MPC 2500
Re: How to connect a counter meter on a RICOH MPC 2500
I think he means an external counter. It needs connecting to the optional key counter interface on the machine, if it has one, then key counter management enabling in user tools to control it.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Are you just looking to count the copies made or are you looking for a way to stop people from making copies unless they have a plug in counter?
The type A kit will tell you the difference between color and black and white. The issue you may run into is the color signal is 5VDC and is either high or low depending on the copy type but the count is a 24 Volt pulse that happens at every paper feed regardless of copy type.
