    [Misc] MP7500 Face up output

    Hi!

Can anybody please tell me how to output face up copies when copying from the ADF, so that the copies come out in reverse order?

    Cheers

    You're joking right??
    Impossible.
But, you could scan them and then "reverse print"

      Trying to prank someone?
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

It can't be done but you can put the originals upside down in the DF to get the desired result.

I should have explained everything so you don't think I'm crazy!

Our customer makes books with the pages printed on the left side so their customers can take annotations on the right side.
They had a KM 7075, which we traded for the MP7500, and still have a KM 7085, and they can print in reverse order just by choosing Face Up in the output options.

I found this on the MP7500 but only for copies from the glass and from bypass.
Copier Doc Server Features > Input/Output > Copy eject face method in glass mode
Copier Doc Server Features > Input/Output > Copy eject face method in bypass mode

          After all, it is possible!
While I was writing this post I found the solution! It is in the Copy/Document Server Reference, pages 29 and 30.

My bad, should have searched the manual before posting.

          Thanks for your answers!

          Cheers

It tastes bitter, and I'm chasing it with some "humble pie".
I must admit, I often learn interesting things from my (resourceful) end-users, because they are the ones that work "with" the machines, rather than "on" them. And they often discover ways of doing things that I had no idea about. This one's new to me too. Props to ricmartinho for discovering the setting.

Although, I am still somewhat confused. If you can only use the contact glass, and the bypass tray. Is there really any benefit? Why not just skip the tedious step of placing each original manually, and just reverse the order of the originals, and then place them in the ADF?
Or, as I originally suggested, scan the docs and then reprint in reverse order.

              Am I missing something?

              P.S.
No, it's not your bad ricmartinho. You asked a question, and I dismissed it as foolish. That's my bad. My apologies.

If you use the "Reverse Ejection: Face Up/Down" function, you can place the originals in normal order on the ADF and the copies come out in reverse order.

The other two settings I found in the Copier Doc Server Festures, I really haven't figured out how they can be useful, but they must be to someone with odd customers like me

                Cheers
