    MPC3500 Jam 019

Ok, we get a JAM 019, clear the paper from fuser entrance and then it runs just fine. If we leave it for a bit then come back to make a copy it then jams again J019. Clear it and runs fine until we leave it again.

    Any thoughts why?

    Thanks

So it seems you haven't actually tried anything yet?
1 way bearing gear on fuser slipping? Exit sensor? Damage to fuser rollers causing improper rotation?

Yes we pulled fuser apart and all looked fine. Again, it only happens when it has been idle and we run a page. After first clear and run more consecutively it runs fine until idle again for a bit.

      Thanks

Exactly where is that gear you speak of?

          Thanks

If you've actually had one apart, it really is pretty hard to miss the big gear with the 1-way bearing in it

Bushings in exit assembly, strip it down, clean and regrease the bushings

The exit sensor (input check SP5803-65) is really flaky on this model and clean the one way gear real good.
